Gulf Insurance Forum to kick off on October 15

DUBAI, 8th October, 2024 (WAM) -- The Gulf Insurance Federation will host the 19th Annual Gulf Insurance Forum from 15th - 16th October in Dubai with the participation of over 250 officials and insurance experts from 36 Arab and international countries, alongside Arab insurance federations, the Federation of Afro-Asian Insurers and Reinsurers, and regulatory bodies.

The forum will be held under the theme "Recent Floods in the GCC and Landscape of Digital Disruption".

The event will focus on insurance strategies for dealing with natural disasters, their impact on insurance companies, and ways to enhance risk management practices and modelling.

The forum also aims to develop the insurance industry, given this sector's important and influential role in the national economy and its challenges.
