GSIS head office to close on Dec. 2 in observance of Pasay Day

CALOOCAN CITY, Nov. 27 (PIA) -- The head office of the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) located in Pasay City, will be temporarily closed on Dec. 2, Wednesday, in commemoration of Pasay City's foundation day.

"The GSIS Head Office in Pasay City will on December 2 (Wednesday), which has been declared as a special nonworking holiday under Republic Act No. 11140 in commemoration of Pasay City's foundation day," the advisory reads.

The GSIS advised members and pensioners, on the other hand, that online facilities for loans and claims would remain open despite the closure.

"Those who wish to file original documents for their loans and claims may drop their documents in the designated drop boxes located outside the lobby of the GSIS Head Office," the advisory added.

Regular operations at the GSIS head office will resume the next day on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2020.
